Masters Hammer and Chisel

If you’re looking for something new to help you reach your New Year’s resolution to develop toned, sexy muscles while realizing how good a healthy diet can make you feel – then the upcoming workout routine The Master’s Hammer and Chisel may be the perfect holiday gift to give yourself.
The program is a one-of-a-kind 60-day workout program that will sculpt you from head-to-toe, giving you a body that you will be proud to show. It is designed by award winning-fitness competitors and two of the best trainers out there, Autumn Calabrese (a busy mom, national-level bikini competitor, and celebrity fitness trainer) and Sagi Kalev (two-time winner of the Mr. Israel title, appearing in thousands of bodybuilding magazines and featuring in more than 50 international magazines).
Both of these fitness experts have used their years of expertise to create this specialist workout system, which is sure to deliver excellent and breathtaking, body-changing results within two-months only! The program consists of all the winning strategies these amazingly ripped and lean trainers have used throughout their journey to fitness, helping you statue that perfect physique, shape powerful muscle and transform all that excess fat into pure mass!
However, let’s make one thing perfectly clear. The program is a full body workout that stretches till 60-days! So, you will be doing lots of exercises and that too with different INTENSITY variations. You will work your abs, you will work your legs, and you will get cardio. Oh and one more thing, YOU WILL SWEAT LIKE A BEAST! After all, the program isn’t named the Hammer and Chisel for no reason now is it? So, if done correctly, this workout will get you in phenomenal shape.
What is Hammer and Chisel?
Hammer and Chisel is a mix of weight lifting and nutrition that is great for both men and women, despite the focus on weights. While many of the other weightlifting programs in the Beachbody family are more focused on helping the guys get a ripped physique, this resistance training program is well suited to both men and women.
Who’s behind this innovative new program?
Hammer and Chisel is a joint project from champion bodybuilder Sagi Kalev, the man behind Body Beast, and nutrition and fitness expert Autumn Calabrese, whose 21 Day Fix offers usable, real-life tips and tricks to transform a poor diet into a healthy one that feeds your body and your mind. Sagi’s portion of the workout is the Hammer, while Autumn’s is the Chisel. The entire program centers on building muscle mass and getting the sexy, shredded body of your dreams.
Who’s right for Hammer and Chisel?
This workout is all about building muscle and strengthening your core. If you love cardio and aren’t into weights, this workout might not be right for you. But if you’re a woman whose worried that the weightlifting program will add bulk, don’t be. Hammer and Chisel is designed to boost your metabolism so you burn more calories – even when you’re resting – by building lean muscle, not bulk. It is designed to help you define your muscles, so your bikini body will be beach ready by summer.
If you’re not a fan of cardio and prefer focusing on key muscle groups so you can watch your body transform quickly, this is a great workout. It’s also well-suited for couples who want to work out together, or for runners or cyclists who get in a lot of cardio but are looking for ways to cross train. (The added strength training will make you faster at both sports, and a stronger core will improve your form, making you less prone to injuries.)
What’s the program?
Hammer and Chisel is a 60-day health plan that includes portion control as well as daily workouts that pack plenty of power into 30 to 40 minutes a day, so they’re easy to fit into your schedule. The workouts include training by both Sagi and Autumn, and focus on weights, strength training and body sculpting, along with a touch of cardio to get your heart rate up.
Why is it special?
Hammer and Chisel uses SSP Training, which focuses on Stabilization, Strength and Power. The workouts maximize your effort using interval training to build big-time endurance and melt away fat while carving muscles and giving you a defined, sculpted body.
Is Hammer and Chisel suitable for beginners?
No matter what your fitness level, The Master’s Hammer and Chisel program will work for you. It includes the same portion-control containers from Autumn’s 21 Day Fix – so you know what to eat and how much, no more guesswork – and you’ll be properly fueled to hit the weights. The workout is advanced, but each move has a modifier so you can build strength and endurance as you go.
When will Hammer and Chisel be released?
The program will be available on December 1st, just in time to give you a new tool to help you get through the holiday season – and the co-worker cookie exchange – without losing track of your health and fitness goals.

Holiday Recap

I am sitting at the airport getting ready to head back to DC. 2014 was a great year for me! I moved to DC (again), went to Bonnaroo, traveled the world & met some amazing people. I am excited to see what 2015 holds. I am always up for a new adventure ;)!

Coming home is always special since I live across the country. I love seeing all my friends & family, it really does mean a lot to me. My heart is full with so much love for so many amazing people in my life. Thank you for a great trip!

Here are some photos, enjoy!
I couldn’t get enough of the mountains & we celebrated Kristi + Peyton. I am so happy to see this girl in love. I can't wait to celebrate the big day in June!

^ My parents & I went to Park City to get lunch at Highwest Distillery. It was super snowy & cold. But it's always dreamy going to this little ski town. It's also one of my favorite traditions with my family (we missed you Amy & Will!) The cheese fondue & the High West Lemonade are my favorite!
^ I got to go to Zach's family Christmas party. I saw Amber & a few more of my favorite people. Zach & I usually take a "family Christmas" photo of us but didn't get around to it this year. So this one will do ;)!
^ I got brunch with some girlfriends at one of my favorite places, Finn's! I am obsessed with the fried chicken & lemonade. It's delicious + the place is so cute.
^ Celebrated the New Year with some friends over fondue & games. Cheers to 2015 I look forward to what's in store!

I hope you all had a great holiday! What are you looking forward to this year?

Emily

Walks With Dad

I am in Salt Lake City for the holidays until Thursday. I love coming home & seeing friends + family. Living away makes me appreciate this beautiful place so much more. One of my favorite things to do while I am home is go on walks with my Dad. My parents live in in Foothill near the Boneville Shoreline (which is also one of my favorite walks.) But since it snowed on Christmas we decided to walk through This is the Place Park.

Living in a busy city is nice but sometimes my heart aches for the mountains. I love to look at them & remember how big + beautiful this world is. I know it sounds cheesy! But I feel at peace while walking with my Dad. It's also a special time we share, we get to catch up! Since I hardly get to see my family every moment to me is special.

^ Walking up to the monuments. It's hard to believe this is in my parents backyard. It's always nice to escape the city & come to the mountains.

I will always love these special walks with my Dad! Do you have any favorite things you like to do at home?

Xo,
Emily
