Coral Dresses

Coral Dresses

Coral Dresses by ambsterdam featuring wedge high heels

In a dream-world...this is what I would be wearing in Vegas this weekend.  Interestingly enough, the daytime look is way more expensive than the night out.  Unlike usual...I just picked what I liked without even thinking about price.  One can dream...right?

Graduation Attire

Graduation Attire
Graduation Attire by ambsterdam featuring badgley mischka shoes

So, I need your opinion!  I am trying to decide what to wear for graduation (I know...no one will see much under that horrendous gown & it is a month away, but I have been thinking about it.)

I have a white dress similar to the one above (mine has a ruffly v-neck).  I am thinking it is a strong contender.  I would either wear it with my red pumps (like the pink ones above) or my nude ones (cheaper version of the beautiful badgley mischka above).  Also, what kind of earrings does one wear with a graduation cap?  Pearl studs, dangly with a pop of color???  Matchy-matchy with the school colors?

What to do, what to do?

Real Photos

Oh boy, do I have a treat for the readers of this blog!  (I know...technically no followers yet, but I have faith!)

#1 My beautiful new pumps:  Jessica Simpson purchased at Nordstrom Rack....gotta love a bargain!

I know, not the best photo...especially since you can see my grossly swollen ankle (courtesy of my clumsiness).  I thought I would share anyway...REAL photos people, REAL.

#2 Yesterday's outfit. Be gentle, I haven't gotten the hang of the self-photography yet.

Please ignore the giant pile of laundry on my bed & dirty mirror.  I had to strategically place words, so that you can't see the really disgusting spots.  How do mirrors get so dirty so easily?

I had a hard time getting a full-body shot.  I love these shiny shoes...comfy & cute.  Thanks Jessie G. for purchasing them for me way back.

Seriously?  What the hell kind of face is this?  At least you can see the detail on the top.  Love this top, plus I snagged it for about $12 at the Banana Republic Outlet in Vegas.

Once again, not a pro Myspace photographer yet.  **That's a good thing right?  At least I look better than in the pic above!

#3 Today's stylish casual Friday

I forgot the flash was on.  Oh boy...I will learn how to use my camera some day.  To think, I used to use a complicated camera with expensive lenses, now I can't even take a point-and-click picture of myself?!

Oohh...look behind my boots: my lovely gold Sperry Top-Siders.  LOVE.  Sorry about the lack of a head in this photo.  Once again, there was a dirty spot on my mirror that made it look like I had snot running out of my nose.  Not putting up future blackmail pics ;)  I know it is hard to see, but I am also sporting my signature red nails.  I get it from my Granny.  What can I say?

There you have it!  REAL pictures.  No Polyvore magic today...well maybe if I get bored later.  I edited/created all the photos online with Piknic software free from my Picasa account.  Oh Google how I love thee.

Happy Friday!

Casual Wednesday

I guess that I do have a distinct style.  Who said that was bad?  This is one of my ultimate go-to outfits (there are several color variations/etc).  Almost anything that I put on tends to look like this from Fall through Winter.

Just an everyday outfit lounging around. The jeans, necklace (mine is a flower/not a heart), cardigan (I think that I have had mine for 3 years), and boots (mine are suede/not leather...3 years old, re-soled once, and need to get new heels again) are all just similar to the items that I own from: Target like $15!!, Forever21, Nordstrom, and Steve Madden respectively. The shirt is from Old Navy love their basics!

Trip to the Pier

I have decided that even though I have not been able to post pictures (I don't have a wonderful husband/boyfriend/roommate with killer photography skills like most of those style bloggers out there.), that's not going to stop me from posting!  I have been obsessing over Polyvore lately.  AMAZING.  Here is one of the looks that I created (very quickly I might add).
