A Night with Em

Meet my friend Emily.

^^We met 4 years ago while we were interning in DC on the metro. She was lost & I helped her find her way, it's been a great friendship ever since.

Even though we have both lived away from DC since we originally met we've always remained close. I couldn't be happier that our paths crossed again in DC.

We may not have as much free time as we had when we were interning but we always find time to get together. Emily is one of the hardest working girls I know & any chance I get to hang out with her i'll take! We decided to meet up for dinner at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants Lauriol Plaza near Dupont. I may or may not have a secret love affair with Mexican food (it reminds me of home.) This spot has my stamp of approval & gets the job done!

^^ We sat down & ordered a pitcher of the regular margaritas. Of course you can't forget the chips + salsa. Yum...

^^I ordered the chicken enchiladas. I will say I am pretty picky about Mexican food & these live up to my expectation. Classic, cheesy goodness. What more could you want?

^^ We decided to make dinner last a bit longer & grab a bottle of wine across the street. 

^^We headed back to Em's house for a glass of vino! It's always fun catching up with this girl. I am so proud of Em & all of her hard work. She is a constant source of inspiration for me & I value our friendship very much. Sometimes all you need is a night with a good friend!
